Duration & Eligibiity

The online MBA program at IGNOU University is a 2-year (4 semester) program with an extension of up to 4 years (8 semesters). To be eligible for the program, students must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for reserved category candidates). Alternatively, students with a professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CS/AICTE approved PG Diploma in Management with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for reserved category candidates) are also eligible to apply.

The admission process for the online MBA program at IGNOU University is based on the score obtained in the entrance test and the academic record of the candidate. Students can choose to take any of the following entrance tests: OPENMAT (Online Proficiency Examination for Management and Allied Tests), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT).
