Online & Distance MSC in Physics: Duration & Eligibility
The M.Sc. in Physics program is a two-year postgraduate degree offered through Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode under the School of Sciences. The program is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge of core and advanced physics concepts, equipping them with analytical, computational, and experimental skills. The medium of instruction for the course is English, and the specialization focuses on Physics, covering key areas such as Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and more.
Eligibility Criteria: To enroll in this program, candidates must meet any of the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree with Major/Honours in Physics.
- A B.Sc. degree (including IGNOU’s B.Sc. under the CBCS system) with Physics and Mathematics as subjects.
- A B.Sc. degree from IGNOU or any recognized Open University with a minimum of 32 credits in Physics, along with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
