IGNOU TEPE December

IGNOU TEPE December 2025 Practical Exam Date Sheet Released

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially released the Practical Examination Date Sheet for the December 2025 Term‑End Practical Examination (TEPE). The university published the schedule in a PDF notice on 19th December 2025, giving all students clear dates and times for their practical exams. This date sheet is very important for students who are enrolled in practical‑based courses, including postgraduate and professional programmes. You can download this official PDF from the IGNOU website and check the dates for your specific course.

What Is TEPE at IGNOU?

TEPE stands for Term‑End Practical Examination. It is a mandatory part of the examination process for many programmes at IGNOU. While theory exams are written and conducted during the regular Term‑End Examination (TEE), practical exams test hands‑on skills, laboratory knowledge, or real‑world tasks depending on your programme. Students must appear for their TEPE exams to complete their course requirements and get their final results.

How to Read Your Practical Exam Date

Every student must carefully check their programme code and course code in the date sheet. The official PDF shows the date and exact time for each practical exam. Most exams have two batches or sessions in a day — one in the morning (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM) and another in the afternoon (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM). To find your specific exam date:
  1. Open the PDF file downloaded from the IGNOU website.
  2. Look for your programme name (e.g., MSC, PGDAST).
  3. Match your course code with the dates listed.
  4. Note the day and timing for your exam.
For example, if you are appearing for MSC (MACS) MMT001P, the schedule shows both batches and their timings on the same day. It is important to reach your exam centre well before your scheduled time.

Important Things Students Must Know

1. Downloading Your Hall Ticket

The practical exam schedule is separate from the hall ticket (admit card). Students need to download their hall ticket for the practical exam from the IGNOU website. The hall ticket shows your name, enrollment number, exam centre address, and exam date and time.”

2. Follow IGNOU Instructions

IGNOU often updates exam guidelines on its official website. Students should regularly check the Student Zone or Announcements page. Sometimes, date sheets or schedules can change due to unavoidable reasons, so staying updated helps avoid confusion.

Why This Date Sheet Matters

Practical exams are an integral part of the final evaluation for many programmes. If you miss the practical exam without a valid reason, you might not be eligible to get your final certificate. This practical schedule complements the Term‑End Examination (TEE) date sheet for December 2025, which contains the theory exam dates. The theory exams usually take place from 1st December 2025 to mid‑January 2026
